EA SPORTS FC 27 introduces a new social football experience with The Grounds, an open-world football hub where up to 100 players can meet, play mini-games, take part in 1v1 matches, kickabouts and 5v5 Rush. On the pitch, Authentic Gameplay 2.0 brings greater control and tactical depth. Corner kicks and crosses offer more control over positioning and attacking intent, while defending has been rebalanced with less AI assistance and greater emphasis on manual defending. Tactical roles and play styles can also be adjusted during matches.
Career Mode receives a major overhaul, including more detailed transfer negotiations covering fees, personal terms, installments, bonuses, buyback clauses and loan-backs. Player ratings can change dynamically from match to match, while expanded simulation allows multiple teams to be simulated simultaneously.
